About Us

Los Boyz began in 2001 when Bryan, Eric, and Steve decided to escape the chaos of everyday life and head into the wild. Our first adventure took us to the FlatTops Wilderness in Colorado, just weeks after 9/11. With heavy hearts and even heavier packs, we boarded a plane to Denver, not knowing how much that trip would shape the years to come.

Back then, we packed way more gear than we needed—mainly to cook up gourmet meals on the first night! Over the years, our packs have gotten lighter, but the spirit of adventure and the camaraderie that makes these trips special have only grown stronger. The group has since expanded to include Doug, Steve, and Derek, and every year we look forward to two unforgettable trips together.

We may be older now, but our love for the backcountry hasn’t changed. The food is better, the miles are a bit tougher, and the memories continue to grow with each trip. This website is dedicated to the stories, the photos, and the moments we’ve shared on these journeys.
